Preventative Maintenance
The intent of of Preventative Maintenance is to "Prevent Unscheduled Down Time" Excel will perform the following services:
- Line balance verification
- Drive output balance verification
- Motor measurement check, limited electrical checks
- Emergency stop circuit verification
- Document voltage and current measurements for future reference
- Complete system check throughout
- Recommend replacement of obsolete and/or faulty equipment
- PLC and Drive software back-up and documentation were applicable
- Complete documented annual system report per machine
The failure rate of electrical components is three times higher for systems where Preventative Maintenance is "NOT performed".
